An eminent panel of former heads of state and government were gathered from among the members of the World Commission on Water for the 21st Century to investigate the question of how to share the world’s almost 300 transboundary watercourses. Published in 2000, this report includes useful case studies on the Ganges, Aral, Mekong and other Asian river basins.
