Louise Chamberlain has been the resident representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Kyrgyz Republic since 2019. She has previously worked on climate change, green economy and low carbon development strategies with the governments of Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Tanzania in similar UNDP senior management capacities. She is an economist by training and before joining UNDP in 2003, she worked at the World Bank and in the private sector.
