Wetlands International

The Wetlands International project aims at building institutional capacity for planning and management at the local, national and regional levels, focusing on poverty reduction and on biodiversity conservation in the Hindu Kush – Karakorum – Himalaya region. The activities are initially focused in three national parks: Sagarmatha National Park in Nepal; Central Karakoram National Park in Pakistan; and Qomolangma Nature Reserve in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
